Jazz Ladies: Ruth Hohmann, Uschi Brüning & Jacqueline Boulanger
Three generations unite on stage -- all famous for their magnificent jazz singing. It was the "Voice from Rostock", Jaqueline Boulanger, who had the idea for the musical "menage á trois" with these Grandes Dammes of jazz. Overflowing with esprit and rich with vocal talent they're sure to raise goose-pimples when Uschi Brüning sings "You Are So Beautiful", and Jaqueline Boulanger does her version of the James Bond theme song "Golden Eye". Ruth Hohmann, Germany's oldest active jazz singer renders "The Entertainer" in an amazing range of different voices and registers, now straight-faced, now clowning around. All three join up for songs like "That's Why the Lady Is a Tramp".
The Pasternak Big Band will back the power women.
